This grant funded a classroom fish tank to provide students with a meaningful real‑life application of measurement skills such as calculating the dimensions of the tank and determining the weight of the rocks used to fill it. Additionally, students will learn about fish habitats the responsibilities involved in caring for living creatures, and write about the experience.
